The Music and Entertainment Industries got together on Friday, March 20th for the 16th Annual Golden Stave Golf Day to raise more much needed money for children’s charities. This years event raised over $69, 000 The 2nd new, improved “A Day on the Greens” was held under threatening skies once again at the picturesque St. Michael’s Golf Course in Little Bay and, was another outstanding success. Congratulations to this years winning team from QL Graphics (Rebecca Donkin, Tori Benzie, James Donkin and Tony Gersback) who won the sensational first prize of a private movie screening for 40 people kindly donated by Paramount Home Entertainment. (The system of female handicaps will be reviewed next year!). Congratulations also to Dicko who won the XYZ hamper (for his arsey shot) at the 5th hole which ran a the nearest to the pin competition, to Rebecca Donkin who picked up a new mobile phone from Allphones for the longest female drive and to Steven Liddle who won a new Ping G5 Driver courtesy of St Michaels Golf Club for hitting the longest drive by a male.
