The inaugrual Golden Stave Charity Lunch 1979

On Friday 16th March 1979, the first Golden Stave Charity Luncheon was held at the infamous Sebel Townhouse where 187 members of the Australian Music Industry 'did lunch' in what was the beginning of an annual icon industry event. The Golden Stave Lunch was born! $12,000 dollars was raised with the help of the NSW State Government contributing 75% of the money.
