Our 45th Annual
Charity Lunch
What an extraordinary afternoon!
Our 45th Annual Golden Stave Charity Lunch, held on Friday 25 September 2026 at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, raised an incredible $250,000 for the NSW children's charities we support.
The room was in great hands with guest MC Paul McDermott and auctioneer Spiro Christopoulos from 2GB. Live performances from Achille Fong made the afternoon memorable, before the sensational Furnace and the Fundamentals brought the house down to close the day.
To every sponsor, donor, auction bidder, entertainer, volunteer and guest: thank you.
Your generosity makes a real difference in the lives of children and families across NSW. We could not do it without you.

In Loving Memory
Gary “Angry” Anderson
A friend. A supporter.
An Australian rock legend.
At this year's Charity Lunch, we paused to pay tribute to our dear friend and long-time supporter Gary “Angry” Anderson, who sadly passed away on Monday 21 September 2026.
A true gentleman and a legend of Australian rock and roll, Angry gave his time and talent generously to help others.
We fondly remember Rose Tattoo donating their performance at the 2013 Golden Stave Charity Lunch at the Hordern Pavilion, helping us raise much-needed funds for kids in need.
From all of us at Golden Stave, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Angry's family, friends and bandmates.
We share in their grief and will remember him with enormous affection and gratitude.
Rest in peace, dear friend.
