Dear [Name,fallback=Friend],

On Friday 20th June at the Hordern Pavilion we host our first ever Golden Stave Charity Dinner.

In 35 years we have raised over $14 million for over 50 children’s charities in NSW. So after another week at work come along on Friday night and break bread, share a meal with us and network with the music and entertainment industry. We have such a fantastic line up of talent to entertain you and there are still seats available.

We need your support to continue the good work.

We assist with accommodation & travel costs for these families.” Lorraine Churchill Secretary - Central Coast Kids In Need

Community Outreach Ministries – Sutherland Shire

right

"Our charity (Community Outreach Ministries located in The Shire) deals with homelessness and the problems associated with it. The Golden Stave Foundation has supported our community work since 2000 and it is used directly to assist children and youth. For example we recently provided shelter to a mother and seven children. They are from Orange and needed to be near the Prince of Wales hospital where the eldest daughter was undergoing heart surgery. They had nowhere to go so we housed them for a month in our premises at Cronulla. The Golden Stave made this possible allowing us to set aside some rooms for just such a purpose. This is just an example of what we do - Reverend George Capsis OAM

Surf Life Saving Sydney Northern Beaches uses the funding received from the Golden Stave Foundation to enable Surf Life Saving instructors to provide free of charge Surf Safety and Surf Awareness courses year round for under-privileged kids attending Stewart House at Curl Curl. Each year approximately 1,800 children receive the benefit of this hands-on training thanks to the generous support of the Golden Stave Foundation. "The Golden Stave Foundation has been supporting our charity or a large number of years. The Foundation has been assisting with our annual Junior Wheelchair Christmas Camp when we bring up to 50 children with disabilities from around the State to a Camp at Narrabeen. The Camp provides a nurturing and caring environment, and over the years has shaped and enriched the lives of many junior wheelies. A life changing experience for many of these children. Without the help of the Golden Stave we could not sustain the Camp and provide this unique opportunity for many to participate." - Jim O’Brien CEO Wheelchair Sports NSW.
